Boomcars
I live in the Lake Wildwood community in North Macon. Overall this is a great place to live but there is one real problem that neither the Lake Wildwood Association nor the Bibb County sheriff’s office have been willing to address effectively.
Boomcars are ruining the quiet in the subdivision where I live. There are about 15 to 20 of these high-powered car stereos in the area. Many of the people use them responsibly. Yet a few persist in playing them loud enough to be heard blocks away and often even as late as 1-2 am.
I have provided the Bibb Sheriff’s office (Lt. Scarbary and Captain Davis) with tags, descriptions, and addresses for the worst offenders. I have offered to go to court and testify against these irresponsible individuals but to no avail. Instead I get the catch 22 response from Lake Wildwood security “Call BSO” from Bibb Sheriff’s department I get call Lake Wildwood security.
