Troop withdrawals from Iraq and a Democratic view through rosy lenses.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and make a prediction.

I believe the administration has always planned to withdraw troops after the December Iraqi elections. Indeed this has been stated or implied on several occasions. I think the Democrats are making their current frenzied push for withdrawal in an effort to position themselves to take credit for pushing the president into bringing the troops home.

I don’t think it will work in the long term but may play a role in the mid-term elections. The Democrats simply can’t seem to grasp the fact that most Americans are beginning to wise up to their disarray and demagoguery. The Democratic leadership cannot accept the fact that there are citizens who can actually think for themselves and look at the larger over arching picture with a global perspective.

Only the radical left which hates almost everything about America anyway and those with no grasp of world history can actually view an abrupt US withdrawal as a positive plan.
