Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad; The next Hitler?
I find it absolutely baffling that the Europe which hosted the worst act of genocide of modern times continues to deny the intentions of Iran. The rhetoric makes the goal of the Iranian leadership very clear.
Iran’s leaders seek the complete and utter destruction of an entire nation.
Yet Europe continues to belive that diplomacy can change the minds of zealots. There is little functional difference between Hitler’s “ultimate solution” and stated goals of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Here are his words to a conference on “The World without Zionism,” as quoted in Reuters; compare them with those of Adolf Hitler:

When challenged by reporters from western nations Ahmadinejad is quoted as saying:

“My words are the Iranian nation’s words,”
“Westerners are free to comment, but their reactions are invalid.”
Make no mistake, Iran will acquire nuclear weapons soon. I have little doubt they will use them shortly thereafter. I also suspect that while the first target will be Israel; the nations of Europe will not be far behind.
The real solution to this issue is to prevent Iran from developing nuclear or other weapons of mass destruction. Unfortunately this would require a strength of character that does not seem to exist within the “international community”.
I hope that Europe will awaken to the threat before cities like Paris, Berlin, and Rome are reduced to radioactive wastelands by an enemy who is so fundamentally certain that he is right that no diplomatic argument can deflect him from his path. But with a world full of Neville Chamberlains I don’t have much hope of this occuring.
