Good guy vs Bad guy “at last”
This event came to the conclusion I predicted on the first day. Furthermore, we now find out some more details that make the delay even more inexplicable.
Here are the details:
Residents are at home with lights on watching TV and hear someone on the porch.
They turn TV off as well as flashing lights in an attempt to make the house appear occupied.
Bad guy starts trying to get doors and windows open and residents retreat up stairs to second floor. Female calls 911 while male stands guard near top of stairs.
Bad guy breaks window and enters house
WHILE THE BURGLAR ALARM IS BLARING.
When bad guy confronts good guy he is shot once and dies.
After almost two weeks DA finally decides not to press charges.
I for one won’t be voting for this DA again.
He simply seems to be so indecisive as to be completely ineffectual. He has completely dropped the ball on investigating Macons’s incompetent Mayor who many people think has illegally distributed city funds in numerous schemes. In this case he wasted two years before turning the case over to the Feds. I suggested that the case be turned over to the State or Feds in a letter to the editors near the begining of this sad saga.
I suspect he has made such a hash of the evidence that we may never be able to remove King C. Jack from office before his term runs out or he bankrupts the city whichever comes first.
With this case, he again seems to be unable to make a decision in a timely manner. I would like to know how his thought process works. If there was even one shred of evidence to suggest a crime was committed by the resident then what is it?
